A collection of raw and uncut memories

When travelling to a new country, it’s almost (always) important to visit the main highlights and landmarks – but how much cooler are those discoveries that you make along the way that result in those ‘picture perfect’ moments?

Travelling is all about making memories – here are some of ours.

Soaking up the sun at the blue lagoon

Considered Malta’s most stunning bays by far, the Blue Lagoon is located along the northern isle of Comino. Take a boat trip and spend the day snorkelling in the crystalline waters, or simply lay back and enjoy these beautiful surroundings

Getting lost in Gozo

Malta’s sister island is known for its countryside, artisanal products and secluded beaches. Our favourites include Mġarr ix-Xini, set in a valley creek, and a 100-step descent down the cliff face of the untouched Għasri valley. They’re both as beautiful as incredibly tricky to locate!

Checking out a Ferrari

The iconic rampant horse visits the Marina Hotel Corinthia Beach Resort once a year during the ‘Take me to the Marina May Fest’ . Last year’s exhibit saw a selection of glistening bodies and full powered engines, as well as offering the opportunity to ride in one of these cars – proceeds of which were donated to charity.

Sailing into the Grand Harbour

Of course, one of Malta’s most iconic images is that of its noble Grand Harbour in Valletta, with its imposing bastion walls and fortifications. What better way to experience what might have been felt throughout our history by sailing your way into the harbour? Speak to our concierge; in the meantime, here’s what it might look like.

Sun Gazing

Sunrises and sunsets over the sprawling Mediterranean tend to be some of the most beautiful in the world. We’d recommend the northern part of the island for sunset, which would include Golden Bay and Dwejra, if you happen to be in Gozo. As for sunrise, if you happen to be staying at the Marina Hotel you’re perfectly in luck. Take a look out of your room, or join us on the terrace – we’d like to think of it as ‘breath taking’.

If you like what you’ve seen, and are planning on visiting Malta some time soon, we invite you to take a look at the special offers and packages we’ve got at the Marina Hotel – that also includes a 10% discount if you fly Air Malta. Once you’re here, ask us to lend you a GoPro camera so you too can be a part of our story!
